Explanations on Summer School Course Registrations

Course Registration for Hacettepe University Students

  • Summer school course registrations will start on 13.06.2022 at 10:00 and will continue until 17.06.2022 at 16:30.
  • The list of courses planned to be offered in the summer school is available on the web page of the Student Affairs Office (SAO).
  • When registering for courses, students must follow the course registration rules announced on the web page of the SAO.
  • Choosing a course in summer school:

The rules applied during the pandemic period have been abolished and our students will be able to choose the course(s) from the course registration page based on the department where the course is offered and within the quotas determined. The total tuition fee incurred will be displayed on the page, and after you make the payment over the bank or ATMs, you must finalize your registration on the course registration page. Once you have finalized your registration, you cannot register for another course.

  • There is also no advisor approval process in summer school.
  • When registering, if the course you are taking is included in your curriculum, you must select it from under your curriculum. You may select other courses from the “Extracurricular/Non-departmental Courses” field.
  • You may take a maximum of 3 courses in summer school.

  • Undergraduate/associate degree summer school tuition fee payments will be made through Vakifbank.
  • Tuition Fee Payment Steps via ATMs; Payments-> Education and examination payments -> University payment (Tuition Fee Payments) -> Enter Rep. of Turkey ID number -> Enter Mobile Phone Number -> Select institution (15 – Hacettepe University Formal/Evening Education/Summer School) -> Enter Student Number
  • Following the course registration week, the final list of courses to be offered in summer school will be announced. Courses/sections with less than 5 students will be cancelled. Refunds will be issued for canceled courses on the dates that will be announced later.
  • Since the quotas of the courses offered in the summer school are determined by the department offering the course, you should contact the relevant department for quota issues.

Non-Hacettepe University Students Wishing to Take Courses in HU Summer School

  • You may take a maximum of 3 courses in summer school.
  • The list of courses planned to be offered in summer school is available on the web page of the Student Affairs Office (SAO).
  • Non-Hacettepe University students can complete their application process by following the procedures below:
  1. Login to the portal at https://bilsis.hacettepe.edu.tr/oibs/summer_app/login.aspx, fill in the required information in the "Create a new user" section and log in to the application page.
  2. Fields to be filled respectively on the application page:
  • Identity information (A photo in jpg format must be uploaded) - Account information opened in your name to be used in case of refund
  • Contact Information
  • University information
  • Application Information (You should choose the Faculty/Department you wish to take courses from. If you are going to sign up for courses from different faculties, it will suffice to choose any one of them).
  1. Once you have filled out the application information, you must save the application form using the "Save" button at the bottom of the page. And then, you must fill in the required fields after printing the form using the "Print" button.
  •  The courses to be taken within the scope of summer school must be approved by the Department / Program    offering the course(s). Therefore, with the application form, you must apply to the Department / Program for this approval.
  • After this approval process, you must submit the relevant form to the Student Affairs Office.
  1. The courses approved in the form will be uploaded to the system and the fee you need to pay will be determined.  When you pay the tuition fee through Vakifbank (via ATMs or over-the-counter), the courses will be approved by the Student Affairs Office and the necessary information will be given during the form submission. Courses for which you do not pay the fee will be deleted from your registration.
