TRANSFER OF STUDENTS STUDYING AT HIGHER EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS IN UKRAINE

Citizens of the Republic of Turkey and foreign students enrolled in the formal education (face-to-face) diploma programs of higher education institutions in Ukraine, in the fall semester of the 2021-2022 academic year and in the previous semesters, may apply for an external transfer to our University within the framework of the conditions in the OSYS/YKS guidebook and in line with the explanations below. Students may apply for an external transfer to the programs that are given a quota.

Since the 2021-2022 spring semester course period will end on May 15, 2022, the students whose applications have been accepted will begin their education as of the fall semester of 2022-2023 Academic Year.

Applications for external transfer to our university will be made online, and the registrations of students whose applications have been accepted will be conducted face to face.

REQUIREMENTS FOR EXTERNAL TRANSFER APPLICATIONS

  • To be registered in the formal (face-to-face) educational programs of higher education institutions in Ukraine for the fall semester of the academic year 2021-2022 and previous semesters.
  • To be registered in a Ukrainian higher education institution that is recognized by the Turkish Council of Higher Education
  • Applications for External Transfer to Programs with a Ranking Criteria (Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Law, Engineering, Teaching):

            - In the year of registration in the program in Ukraine; student must have taken the OSYS / YKS exam, and meet the ranking criteria as published in the guidebook; or

            - Student must be registered in a higher education institution that meets the ranking conditions sought in the ranking institutions lists in the OSYS/YKS guidebook of the relevant year.*

Students who have enrolled in the undergraduate programs of foreign higher education institutions by registering their associate degree education received from Turkish higher education institutions may also apply provided that they meet the above-mentioned requirements.

  • Applications for External Transfer to Programs with No Ranking Criteria:

            - In the year of registration to the program in Ukraine; student must have the lowest base score in the OSYS/YKS exam of the equivalent diploma programs in our university,

            - As for programs requiring an aptitude test; having student must have the lowest base score in the OSYS/YKS exam determined for programs requiring an aptitude test in the relevant year, or

            - Student must be registered in a higher education institution that are in the top 1000 in the ranking institutions lists stated in the OSYS/YKS guidebook.*

Students who have enrolled in the undergraduate programs of foreign higher education institutions by registering their associate degree education received from Turkish higher education institutions may also apply provided that they meet the above mentioned requirements.

  • *Students Who Do Not Hold OSYS/YKS Score or Have Not Taken the Exam

For the programs with a ranking requirement; students must meet the ranking requirement mentioned in the ranking institutions lists in the OSYS/YKS guidebook published in the year the student has registered to the program in Ukraine. And, for the programs with no ranking criteria, students who have registered with an international exam/certificate score to the degree program of the higher education institutions that are in the top 1000 in the ranking institutions lists in the OSYS/YKS guidebook, must meet the minimum scores from the exams/certificates recognized by our university for international student admission.

  • International students and Turkish nationals who have completed their entire secondary education abroad and enrolled in a diploma program in Ukraine must have met the minimum score requirement of the international exams accepted by our University in the relevant year.

  • Candidates who will apply to programs with a compulsory foreign language preparatory class must submit the foreign language exam result of an international exam accepted by our University during the application, or candidates who do not have a document must take the foreign language proficiency exam that is going to be held at a later date by the School of Foreign Languages.

  • International candidates are required to submit a Turkish Proficiency Certificate in their application to programs for which Turkish preparatory class is compulsory, or candidates who do not have a certificate must take the Turkish proficiency exam that is going to be held at a later date by the Turkish and Foreign Language Teaching Application and Research Center (TÖMER).

  • Hacettepe University programs that require an aptitude test reserve the right to conduct an aptitude test if they deem necessary.

 

APPLICATION DOCUMENTS

  • OSYS/YKS result certificate for students who will apply based on the OSYS/YKS result
  • The international certificate/exam score (from SAT1, ACT, GCE A Level, International Baccalaureate (IB), French Baccalaureate, ABITUR (Germany) certificate of results), with which students without OSYS/YKS scores have enrolled in the diploma program in Ukraine.
  • Transcript of Records
  • Student Certificate (a document indicating that the student is registered at a university in Ukraine)
  • Certificate of secondary education of those who have completed their secondary education completely abroad or in Turkey.
  • Photocopy of identity card (except for international students)
  • Passport identification page and a photocopy of the pages showing the entry into and exits from Ukraine.
  • Certificate of proficiency in a foreign language or Turkish.

Important Notes:

  • Turkish English translation of the documents in the Ukrainian language should also be uploaded to the online application portal.
  • The original copies of the documents must be submitted during registration to the university. The right to request documents other than those mentioned above is reserved. In this process, students will be registered as “provisional”.
