SUMMER SCHOOL COURSE REGISTRATION RULES

1. The summer school lasts for 7 weeks and the mode of education is face-to-face.
2. During the course registration week, Hacettepe students can take up to 3 courses from the list of courses offered in the summer school by logging into the Student Information System (https://bilsis.hacettepe.edu.tr/).
3. Students must deposit the total fee for the selected courses, calculated in the course registration program, to the relevant bank within the same week and then finalize the courses through the same system. Even if the fee is paid, if the finalization process is not completed, the course will not be considered registered.
4. The minimum attendance requirement is 50% for courses that were previously taken but failed while meeting attendance requirements, and 70% for all other courses.
5. Please ensure to check the prerequisite conditions for the selected courses and adhere to the rules for taking SEC coded courses when making your selections.
6. At the end of the course registration week, the decision to open or close courses will be finalized based on the number of registered students. Courses that are not opened due to insufficient enrollment will be removed from students' records, and fees will be refunded.

SPECIAL STUDENTS (Non-Hacetttepe Students):
The procedures to be performed by Non-Hacettepe students wishing to take courses as special students during the course registration week are as follows:

1. Enter the requested information on the application screen, then save and print the form. The link to the application screen is available on the Student Affairs Office website.
2. Get this form to be approved by the academic unit offering the course.
3. Then, apply to the Student Affairs Office with the approved form and complete the course registration process by paying the course fee.

SUMMER SCHOOL COURSE FEES

1. The hourly and total summer school fees for each Faculty/School/Institute are specified here for students attending the summer school.
2. The fee for a course is calculated from the hourly rate of the Faculty offering the course.
3. If the program language of the student is 100% in a foreign language, the calculated fee is doubled.
4. International students pay triple the tuition fees specified in the attached file, subject to the provisions of bilateral agreements and memorandums of understanding.
5. Special students pay double the tuition fees for the Faculty/School, specified in the attached file.
6. Students who pay the course fees and register for courses in the summer school are considered to have accepted the Summer School Course Registration Policies.
7. Refunds are issued solely for courses that have not opened. No deletions of courses or fee refunds are permitted beyond this policy.

• Course Start and End Dates: 16 July - 01 September 2024
• Final Exams: 02 - 08 September 2024
• Online Submission of Final Exam Results: 02 - 11 September 2024
